Content Writer

Cannonball Digital is searching for a content writer to help out our team for the summer of 2022. The expectation is to research and write content pieces for our clients, with projects ranging from educational blogs to long-form articles, not to mention some internal marketing copy.

This internship provides a holistic approach from research, writing, publishing, and understanding of how all these components work together—teaching all things SEO and content marketing along the way.

Hours: Part-time, 10-15-20 Hours per Week

Timeline: June Through August With Ongoing Work Opportunities

Rate: Paid Internship

Location: Remote, With In-person Meetings

THE DESCRIPTION

You must have (or be working toward) a degree in English, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
We’re looking for someone who can successfully research a topic and write intelligently about it.
Grammatical errors and misspellings drive you crazy, i.e., you have a strong attention to detail.
You are able to be handed a subject and an audience, determine the important topics within the given subject matter and expand on them, all while doing so in a time-conscious manner.
Knowledge of WordPress and/or HTML is a plus.
Knowledge of design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
Ongoing training will be provided for all areas of responsibility.
